In 1994, Katia became a second Olympic Gold Medalist, and by this time she also had four world titles.

On May 28, 2011, the woman who has been in the public eye and on the world's stage since she was a preteen has turned the big four-zero, but still proves that age 40 is still fresh, artistic, and has more to do in her world. She continues to stroke her tremendous creative pallets in beautiful ways as an artist and as a human being. Katia Gordeeva is one of those rare people who seems as if she has already had five lifetimes throughout her life span. May she continue to give the world light through her art, and have many more birthdays for many, many, years to come.
